Healthy Tips & Recipes

Hey kids, did you know that your body is always moving inside? Your heart is pumping, your stomach is grinding food, your blood is circulating and your brain is always thinking! All that work takes energy and you get energy from the food you eat. The food you eat is turned into fuel for your body to keep it working correctly. Each day you need a good variety of foods to keep your body growing the way it should.

Eating lots of fruits and vegetables and drinking plenty of water on a daily basis helps keep not only your body healthy, but your mouth and teeth strong as well. But after all that healthy eating, don't forget to brush your teeth regularly with a fluoride toothpaste and floss in between those crunchers too!

Here are some healthy snacks that you can make to help keep your body healthy and strong, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
